As an entrepreneur, I understand just how many puzzle pieces small business owners juggle. R&D, sales, shipping, bookkeeping, yada yada yada. It can be overwhelming.

But, for impactful images—that’s where I come in!

I specialize in helping businesses, educators and other creatives bring their visual ideas to life clearly, creatively, and with heart. Whether you're looking for complete refresh of your brand, to launch a new product, or just need someone to enact your vision, I’m here for it.

I’m passionate about supporting fellow small business owners because I believe in what you’re building. I want your brand to shine, your message to resonate, and your visuals to feel as intentional as everything else you’ve worked hard to create so that you outshine your competitors! Talk to me, I will do everything I can to help!

TLDR: I deliver the polish so you can focus on the passion.

“Stacey is a truly outstanding graphic artist that has been the secret to our success on several large awards at the University of Maine. Stacey can take a visual concept and rough draft to completion in short order with quite impressive outcomes. This often includes simplifying highly complex diagrams to make them visually appealing and easy to understand, which is a true skill. We plan to continue to use her wonderful services as much as we can!”

What I do

When you need to capture attention and imagination, I am available to create personality-rich visuals that stand out in both print and digital spaces so your brand is polished, professional, and easy to recognize, wherever it shows up.

Let’s discuss unique logos, cohesive branding, intentional illustration, articulate print materials, user-friendly diagrams, well-thought-out packaging, attractive signage. I also design for websites, social media, and large marketing campaigns, with a focus on clarity and creativity to help you stand out. Everything I create is tailored with purpose and personality, keeping your audience at the center.

I’m here to help your presence be as impactful as the work you do.

who I do it for

I offer custom illustration and design services to help educators, small- to medium-sized businesses, and other creatives to help bring their vision to life.

A large portion of my clientele are university researchers and faculty looking for grant proposal graphics, updated classroom materials, manual design, social graphics for events, and project or lab websites.

New and existing small businesses are also regularly in need of social media graphics, email campaigns, painted window murals, advertising graphics, annual report design, and so much more, while new businesses need everything from branding, signage, and menu design to mailers, branded packaging, and web design.

I often find other creatives who need help with their own branding and websites, or special projects like t-shirt design, album art, or other visions they need assistance enacting.

who I am, doing it

As a fine artist, I was initially hesitant to go the computer-career route, but have made it my career for 17 years now and am eager every day to bring beauty in to the world.

I sweat ideas and bleed paint to pixels, and breathe in inspiration from the world around me. I am endlessly curious and eager to tackle new challenges, and I get to do it from my home, with my pets cheering me on.

In my personal life, I am a nerd—always eager to learn and experiment. I can usually be found trying a new restaurant, planning my next trip, reading, crafting, playing pool, hiking, or hanging out with my husband, family, and friends. I love my life, and joy pours out of me into what I create.

I am always eager to explore new corners of my passion.

where my clients are

Geography doesn’t limit great design.

Because my work is fully remote, I collaborate with clients all across the U.S.A., no matter your location or time zone. Whether you're a neighbor down the road or across the country, I'm set up to work seamlessly, share progress online, and deliver polished work wherever you need.

where I work

Having recently moved from Florida, I’m currently based in the mountains of Northeast Tennessee, with roots in one area and a growing community in the other.

Usually, I can be found working in my home office or on a sunny porch, but occasionally I take this act on the road. I am also available at a day rate to work one-on-one in person or via Zoom with you, when scheduled in advance.

"Stacey is a great problem solver. She offers creative solutions to any challenge and always delivers a fantastic customer experience. She is very empathetic to your needs as a client and makes you feel supported in reaching your goals."

Our partnership

It all begins with an idea. After you reach out to me, we will talk details (dates, medium, budget, art needs, etc.). You don’t have to have it all figured out—I may even be able to provide information that could help answer lingering questions. Following our chat, I will send you an easy-to-review contract with a summary of our plans and pricing—this may include options for you to choose from. You will then send a deposit, and I will begin work on a concept (or multiples).

Upon your choosing a direction and considering needed revisions, I will continue with creation and we will continue this cycle of proofs and revisions until finished.

My pricing

We all need flexibility in life, so I won’t push you to choose from generic, limited packages and then promise you gold. I focus my efforts on how I can best help fulfill your needs, and for many clients, this means a direct price for a very specific project. For others with amorphous plans, one of my flex term options with a total hour count (that may be spread over months) may be more useful. Or maybe a small regular retainer each month is more in line with how you fore see needing to use me. Let’s work together to find the right fit, because I want to see small businesses succeed.
